Marlowes Shopping Centre, Hemel Hempstead
GR3 Commercial have over a five-year period been contracted to complete maintenance services and emergency glazing works on behalf of GVAACR to The Marlowes Shopping Centre in Hemel Hempstead. Maintenance works have included internal/external cleaning and painting works to the high level atriums and internal cores, in addition we provide quarterly maintenance visits and adjust/repair all the glass manual entrance doors as required.Emergency glazing works have included the removal and making safe of defective high level glass panels, temporary boarding up and water proofing and finally replacement with green tinted double glazed units to match existing.
Access has been achieved via a combination of mechanical lifts, lorry mounted cranes, tower scaffolding and our in house difficult access, rope abseil technicians.
All works have been fully supported by detailed method statements and risk assessments; all mechanical access has been operated by our powered access teams all trained to IPAF or equivalent standards. Rope and abseil works have been completed by our high level, difficult access rope/abseil teams all trained to IRATA Level 1 - 3, standards. All site works have been supervised by our project management team all trained to SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) standard.
