The well known Chelsea Harbour has recently become a new client of GR3 Commercial. So far GR3 Commercial have worked on the Design Centre Building, the Yacht Clubs glazed roof and the Harbour Yard conservatory roof.

GR3 Commercial have carried out an in depth leak detection/rectification service in addition to multiple glass changes on all the above mentioned buildings. This was a particular challenge with regard to the seal service works conducted on the three large glazed domes located above the Design Centre Building, accessing these structures required all the skills and experience of our ( IRATA ), specialist trained difficult access rope technicians. The glass replacement program works was completed by utilising a combination of lorry mounted cranes and mechanical lifts, these were controlled and operated by our ( PASMA ) certificated glass replacement teams. Some of the glass units replaced were shaped and required templating and specialist manufacture.

All works were supported by a detailed Health and Safety pre construction plan, which incorperated detailed method statements and risk assessments to cover all phases of the project and to identify all the associated risks..
