Comprehensive leak detection and rectification program to entire glazed atria roof, ski slope roof and curtain walling - multiple glass changes to the above - structural refurbishment to water displays and fa�ades of inner atria.

This multi-atria office complex with fully glazed curtain walling incorporated all aspects of GR3 Commercial's refurbishment services. The Apex Plaza is one of several prestige office spaces owned by Prudential on which GR3 Commercial carry out projects of all sizes. Adjacent to Reading Central Railway Station the building is of seven storeys, comprising polished marble and glazed curtain walling with a glazed, ski-slope entrance awning and two fully glazed inner atria incorporating water displays and glass elevators.

The emergency leak detection and rectification operatives conducted a full water test to check the integrity of all external seals. All pressure cappings were removed and the entire internal weep system was flushed to ensure that any internal build up of debris was dispersed, allowing free flow of water. Any missing seals and gaskets were thereby sourced, supplied and installed. Reports were submitted (as is standard company practice) on the mechanical condition of all glazing and associated framework of the main atria. Again as is standard, a full water test was carried out to the entire roof to confirm the integrity of all new seals.
